Why a post needs its own number
When you build in public, one post can be your best week. In most dashboards that week is a bump labelled "Social" or "Direct", and you cannot tell which post did it. You need to see the post on the chart, on the day it went out, with what it sent.
Where twelvebit shows it
twelvebit searches Hacker News, Reddit and X for posts that name your site, and pins each post on the Overview chart. A pin shows the visitors and the revenue that the post sent. For X, that is the visits from the post's own t.co link, from an hour before to 14 days after. For Reddit and Hacker News, it is the visits from that site in the two days after the post.
The Mentions card lists the posts. On the Referrer tab, t.co opens a row for each X post, labelled with its author, so you can see which post brought the buyers.
