Terms of service

The rules for using twelvebit, in plain words.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them with our privacy policy.

! DraftLast updated 17 October 2026

1. The service

twelvebit is a web and revenue analytics service run by Twelvebit ("we"). It includes the dashboard, the tracking script, the REST API, the MCP server, the CLI and the setup prompt for coding agents.

2. Public beta

twelvebit is in public beta. Features can change, and some parts can be slow or unavailable for a time. We do our best to keep your data safe and the service running, but during the beta we do not promise a fixed level of availability.

3. Your account

  • You must give a correct email address and keep your password and API keys secret.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account, including the actions of team members you invite.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.

4. Plans and billing

Billing is not live yet. During the public beta every plan is free. When billing starts, plans are priced by the number of events a month and the number of sites, as shown on the pricing page. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card. We will tell you by email before billing starts, and we will never charge you without your consent.

5. Your data

You own your analytics data and your account data. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You can delete a site or your account at any time. The privacy policy explains how we handle it.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Track only websites and apps that you own or have permission to track.
  • Tell your visitors about analytics in your own privacy notice, and ask for consent where your law requires it.
  • Do not send personal data such as names, email addresses or phone numbers in event names or props.
  • Do not use twelvebit to break the law, to send spam or fake traffic, or to attack the service or other people.
  • Do not try to get around plan limits or rate limits, and do not copy or resell the service.

7. Coding agents and API keys

When you give the setup prompt to a coding agent, the agent changes your code on your behalf. Review every change before you merge or deploy it. Keep API keys in environment variables and out of chat logs, git and browser code. You can revoke a key in the dashboard at any time.

8. Ending the service

You can stop using twelvebit and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close the service or your account for a reason that is not your fault, we give you at least 30 days' notice so that you can export your data.

9. Warranty and liability

We provide the service "as is". Analytics numbers are estimates. Ad blockers, privacy settings and bots can change them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email at least 14 days before the change applies.

11. Law and contact

The law of the country where Twelvebit is registered applies to these terms, together with the mandatory consumer and data protection rules of the European Union. Questions? Write to hello@twelvebit.io.
