Ad measurement

See what each ad campaign returns.

twelvebit measures ads for advertisers and for the agencies that run their campaigns. It joins the spend of each campaign to the visitors, customers and sales that the campaign brought, on your website and on Amazon.

How it works

From the ad spend to the sale.

  1. Connect the ad account

Meta Ads connects with a read-only token. Google Ads connects with a script that you paste into your Google Ads account. Amazon Ads connects with Sign in with Amazon. twelvebit only reads: it never changes a campaign, a budget or a bid.

  2. Tag the links

Ads that lead to the website carry utm_campaign, or the click ID that Google Ads adds, so each visit knows its campaign. Links that lead to Amazon carry an Amazon Attribution tag, which twelvebit adds for you.

  3. Each sale finds its campaign

Each payment on the website goes to the visit that led to it, and so to its campaign. Amazon reports the orders that its ads and tagged links brought, as totals per campaign.

Reports

What an advertiser sees.

  • Return per campaign

Spend, clicks, visitors, new customers and revenue per campaign and day, with the return on ad spend. Spend converts to the site currency.

  • Cost per visitor and per customer

What one visitor and one new customer cost from each campaign, from your own visits and payments, not only from the ad network's count.

  • One return across networks

Meta Ads, Google Ads and Amazon Ads in one number: all revenue for each unit of ad spend, website and Amazon together.

    In review with Amazon

  • Amazon sales with and without ads

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display: spend, impressions, clicks and ad sales per campaign, and the share of Amazon sales that came from ads.

    In review with Amazon

  • Sent to Amazon

Links outside Amazon (your website, Instagram ads, the newsletter) that led to Amazon orders, from Amazon Attribution. Totals per link, never people.

    In review with Amazon

  • Questions to your agent

The MCP server gives a coding agent the same data. Ask which campaign returned the most, or what a new customer cost last month.

Who it is for

Brands, sellers and the agencies that run their ads.

  • Brands that sell on their own site

See which campaigns bring paying customers, not only clicks, with the revenue from your payment provider or store (Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce and others).

  • Sellers on Amazon and on their own site

Website revenue and Amazon sales next to each other, the ad spend of both, and the Amazon orders that your website and social ads sent to Amazon.

  • Agencies that run ads for clients

One login for many client sites, with each client's ad accounts connected to its own site. Invite the client as a viewer, so both of you read the same numbers.

Details

Read-only, private, and exact about what it counts.

Read-only

twelvebit reads spend and results. It never creates, changes or stops a campaign, and it never sees a payment method of the ad account. The access is stored encrypted, and you can remove it at any time.

What it counts

On the website, a sale goes to one visit: the visit before the payment (last touch). The campaign of that visit gets the revenue. On Amazon, Amazon decides which orders its ads and tagged links brought, within 14 days of the click; twelvebit shows Amazon's totals and says that they come from Amazon.

Privacy

twelvebit does not record sessions or screens, and does not store IP addresses. From Amazon it reads no buyer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses. The app runs in Frankfurt, Germany. See security and data and the privacy policy.
